Check the start rule on your plan
Most Alaveno plans start the first time the eSIM connects to a supported network at your destination. Some plans can start as soon as they are installed, so always use the rule shown on your order.
You can find the same rule in My eSIMs, on the installation page and in your confirmation email.
Install at the right time
If your plan starts on first connection, you can usually install it before your trip and leave the line turned off until you arrive.

Open My eSIMs and choose the plan.

Read the Starts line before installing.

Keep your normal SIM selected for mobile data until you reach your destination.
